Die Cast

A melted zinc alloy is injected into a steel die which has the product image cut into it. This process uses a much harder metal than what is used in the Rubber Mold process. This is a price-conscious alternative to brass.

Die Struck

Brass metal is pressed into a hardened steel die which has the product image cut into it. This process should be used when the rich finish of Natural Brass is desired.

Rubber Mold Casting

A metal alloy is melted and poured into a rubber mold which has multiple images of an item cut into it. The mold is made of vulcanized rubber and is inserted into a casting machine. The machine spins the mold while melted metal is poured into the center of the mold. The centrifugal force created by the spinning injects the metal into all of the cavities in the mold. This metal is much softer and will achieve the most dimension and detail.

Photo/Digital process

This process is a photo/digital reproduction of full color artwork. This process is best for layouts with numerous color and/or halftones & gradients.

Silk Screened

Ink is pressed though a mesh screen with a squeegee. The mesh has the image burned into it so that the ink is applied directly to the area to be colored. Each color is applied separately.

Cloisonne

Powdered colored glass is placed in cavities and fired at high temperature to solidify the glass. The item is lightly ground and polished to ensure a quality finish. Thin metal lines are required in the design to separate one color from another.

CloisEpoxy

Colored epoxy is placed into cavities, lightly ground and polished to ensure a quality finish. Thin metal lines are required in the design to hold the epoxy and separate one color from another.

Soft Enamel Colorfill

Colored enamel paint is placed in cavities and baked at high temperature to solidify the paint. Thin metal lines are required in the design to hold the paint and separate one color from another.
